Our Training Philosophy
WE PROMOTE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Worksafe trainings focus on the personal responsibility employees must take to ensure their own back safety in the workplace and at home.
YOUR JOB CAN MAKE YOU HEALTHIER
We demonstrate how lifting or pushing task if performed properly can be good for your body. Lifting on the job can be as beneficial as gym workout.
WE ARE IN THE TOGETHER
Safety needs to be a group thing. When done together it becomes an act of care improving the staff's well-being.
Does Your Hospital Qualify?
Any Michigan hospital, nursing and residential care facility qualify for WorkSafe’s free training.
We Use Trained WorkSafe Doctors
Our trained doctors work with the employees on proper ways to lift, bend and move. Before each program, doctors conduct an evaluative walk-through of the worksite to customize the presentation. Together, the WorkSafe doctor and the employees will discuss practical solutions that are unique to the workplace.
We Conduct 1-hour Presentations On-site at Your Hospital
Presentations are on-site at your facility, and include a multi-media approach to learning.
1. Pre- and post-test
2. Hospital safety video
3. Back Safety & Ergonomic booklets
4. Fun, energized group discussion
PRETEST PREVENTS MEMORY LOSS
Our training starts with a friendly pretest.
It sets the stage for retaining the safety
skills that will be learned.
Involves engaging group discussions that
gets hospital staff to address safety opportunities at a personal and group level.
CHEATING IS ENCOURAGED
By this step hospital staff have reviewed a
work booklet, video and completed a group discussion. Working together they complete
a final test together.
